Starting kindergarten is an exciting time in a young child's life. It signals the beginning of their formal education and is their introduction to the world of learning. It will be a time of many changes for your child. He or she will have to adjust to new teachers, new children, new schedules, and new routines. Having a successful entry into kindergarten will help your child have a positive attitude about school and learning. Pinnacle Academy offers full day kindergarten. Their day begins at 8:00 and ends at 3:00 which is in keeping with the rest of the student body. Our kindergarteners have plenty of academic, social and physical activities to fill each day. Kindergarteners here at Pinnacle Academy focus on reading and math through the use of Open Court Reading and Tricks Mathematics. The kindergarten students learn self discovery and awareness of the world around them, which is promoted through the use of stories and class discussions. There is a balance between learning independence while learning the skills necessary to work in a group setting.
